Experience
I served a two year LDS mission in Samoa, and in the last year of my mission I taught Samoan (the mission language) to each of my companions, tutoring them through the whole process of language learning and language study. I currently host and teach a mission preparation class in my home each Sunday. ACT score: 27; English 28, Mathematics 25, Reading 26, Science 28. ASVAB 91. I want to be a tutor because I love to teach and I love to help others learn and improve in whatever way they can. I like to help others understand what they need to know and do to succeed, including helping them learn good study habits, state of mind, and especially discipline. I enjoy seeing others' confidence grow as they learn that they can master any subject if they decide to. Relevant classes I've taken are: Spanish 1010, Biology 1010, Chemistry 1010, Sociology 1010, English 1010 (all A's and a B+ in Spanish). Writing and English are strong points. I am enlisted as a 35F Intelligence Analyst in the Army National Guard with the 19th Special Forces Group Support Company, Airborne.

Hobbies
I'm a people-oriented person and prefer socializing and spending time with my friends and family more than anything else. I'm pretty friendly if you ask me, and I enjoy conversing and getting to know people. I also do a lot of things outdoors: Fly fishing, bow fishing, hiking, running, camping, etc. I also go on airborne jumps with my unit each month from C-130s and Black Hawks.
